Jasper is a VERY knowledgeable plumber going above and beyond to assess my unusual situation. He went into multiple small crawl spaces spending a lot of time trying to find the PRV to an older home. We have ongoing water issues in our home due to old pipes and minimal upkeep-maintenance by the previous owners. We called Hey Dude Plumbing to help address our most recent issue and, after 3 other plumbing services either a) came in and said everything was fine and/or b) took a few days to respond (if at all). Of those that did come out, they wanted to schedule us 1 week out. This was not the case with Hey Dude. They provided a same-day evaluation and put us on the schedule as soon as we confirmed the quote. They were extremely fair on the pricing and worked with us to ensure a competitive price with the market and previous quotes. Jeremy was amazing. He arrived on time on both occasions, despite having the wrong address initially. He was amazing to work with. He communicated clearly and often, while also showing the utmost professionalism. If you ever need a plumbing hero, call Hey Dude Plumbing. After a midnight disaster that left 40+ gallons of water soaking our less-than-two-week-old renovated basement (thanks to a busted water heater), Matt showed up first thing—fast, friendly, and ready to save the day. He was knowledgeable, kind, and funny—exactly what a stressed-out homeowner who really needed a therapist (but got Matt) needed. He even caught and fixed a sneaky old pipe leak before heading out.
I’m not sure how the price compares, but when your basement is underwater and you need help ASAP, value becomes relative. One note—if you call at 5 a.m., the “Surfin’ USA” jingle might feel a little off-theme, but maybe that’s what kept me sane. Highly recommend Hey Dude Plumbing—Matt turned our flood into a (somewhat) manageable wave.
